Converse launches the all new Americana Woven Collection. Inspired by Independence Day, the collection features two famous Converse silhouettes using textural design elements synonymous with Americana to create a brand new look and feel.
The Converse CONS Weapon Skate hi-top sneaker is designed with a woven vamp along with vintage flag accents, while the contemporary patchwork upper compliments modern street style. It features a distressed woven patchwork vamp with red, white and blue panels, compromised of stars, stripes and nautical anchor print details presenting a throwback American style. For added comfort, the sockliner is made with memory foam to help protect the ankle while providing support.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker is designed with the same stars, stripes and nautical prints, only in an innovative print design. The canvas upper is created using advanced “Mimaki” printing method from Japan, which creates the illusion of a subtle woven surface texture. The sneaker is finished with contrast red laces, and a classic white midsole and toecap.
