The H&M Studio Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is all about Sporty energy, starburst shine and utilitarian futurism. It’s a layered collection that features effortless pieces along with a tomboy feel.
Knitwear is the key focus of the collection, especially roll neck and turtle neck sweaters. For day-to-night lurex knits is what you need, while ribbed and zippered knits has a sporty energy. Zip-up outerwear features utilitarian quilted nylon zip-up coats and long gilets, as well as camel wool coats with ribbed waists or tailored wool coats with an inner layer of zip-up nylon.
Futuristic starburst prints are found on lurex blouses and roll neck long sleeve dresses, or woven as a jacquard on a tailored pantsuit. Textures are contrasted, with the sheen of a laminated wool on jackets and skirts, faux fur coats, matte wool tailoring and sequin blouses.
Pants come in either straight legged or wide flares, while the ribbed-knit leggings gives a sporty active look.
Utilitarian theme features tomboy pieces, such as ski dungarees and zippered fine-knit rib jumpsuits.
The collection will be available in 200 stores, as well as online from September 10th.
